About The Position

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. The PCT works within the limits of the position, does not administer medications or therapy, and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Duties must be performed consistently with PAM Health’s policies, procedures, and guidelines. This is a full-time night-shift position at Hampden Rehab.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
• Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities within the limits of the position.
• Provide accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
• Perform job duties in accordance with PAM Health’s policies, procedures, and guidelines.
