About The Position
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. The PCT carries out patient care activities within the limits of the position, does not administer medications or therapy, and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Duties must be completed in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements
- Current BLS certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit preferred.
