About The Position

This role is for a Patient Care Technician in the Stepdown ICU at Ascension St. Vincent Seton Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. The position is part-time, working nights from 7pm to 7:30 am, with a rotating schedule that includes every third weekend and holiday rotation. The technician will perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision, including aiding with patient movement and placement, assisting patients with personal care and daily living activities, reporting findings or changes in patient condition to nursing staff, documenting necessary records, and maintaining patient rooms and medical equipment.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities
