About The Position

The Patient Care Technician assists with patient care and provides support services to patients, the nursing unit, and professional staff. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary team members in a highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging healthcare environment. The position is full-time, with overnight shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., three shifts per week, scheduled across Sunday through Saturday.

Requirements

• Graduate of a certified nursing assistant program or certified medical assistant program; or one year of experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility; or nursing student with documented completion of the first semester of a nursing program; or documented military experience as a medic or corpsman; or foreign nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the United States.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support card required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
