About The Position

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is currently seeking a Patient Care Technician (CNA) for our Outpatient Recovery Unit. PCT’s provide care by transporting patients, assisting with providing snacks and dressing patients in the recovery area, cleaning rooms between cases and routine stocking.

Requirements

• Nursing Assistant Certification (NA-C) required
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent documented nursing training experience
• Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) also required (Overlake Hospital will sponsor this licensure upon hire)
• Health Care Provider CPR Certification prior to start - required
• COVID-19 vaccination requirement: After October 18, 2021 all Washington state healthcare employees, contractors and volunteers will be required to provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization as a condition of employment. You must provide this proof before your first day of employment with Overlake. Please remember to bring your COVID-19 immunization card to your pre-hire health screening with our Employee Health team.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year working in a hospital environment as a CNA strongly preferred
• One year recent experience in a health care setting involving patient contact preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and computer familiarity is preferred
• Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills
