About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. The PCT provides direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

The role requires comfort with blood, needles, and medical equipment; the physical ability to work long shifts on one's feet; and willingness to float between local clinics if needed. The schedule is flexible and may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Paid training and ongoing education are provided, with career paths and development programs available.

Requirements

• Accredited high school diploma, GED credential, or equivalent.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• CNA, MA, CHT, or phlebotomy certification.
• Healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
