Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare-related experience in one or more of the following roles: Nursing Assistant (NA), Patient Care Technician (PCT), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Medical Technician, Phlebotomist, or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Or If less than 2 years of experience: A Nursing Assistant or other healthcare-related certification obtained within the past 12 months, AND At least 1 year of healthcare-related experience in one of the roles listed above
- BLS certification required by time of hire
Nice To Haves
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Work under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse and assist patients in a timely and efficient manner
- Handle patient care situations with a high level of integrity, compassion, and professionalism
- Responsible for taking vital signs, performing EKGs, and collecting specimens
- Collaborate with the clinical team and provide assistance with procedures as needed
- Use basic computer and data entry skills to support clinical documentation
