About The Position

Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital, a partnership between Select Medical and Vibra Healthcare, is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for their facility in Bowling Green, KY. This full-time position offers both shifts and a $2,000 sign-on bonus, with a pay rate up to $19.51 per hour based on experience. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Hospital experience as a patient care technician, nursing assistant, or experience in a related field such as a medical assistant or as an actively enrolled nursing student.
Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

Performs routine tasks in patient care/assistance and documentation of care provided under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Transports patients to and from various treatment areas.
Assists in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
Performs services for the patient involving dressing, showering, bathing, and oral feeding.
Answers patient lights and performs services in a timely manner that adds to the physical well-being of the patient.
Participates in patient turning/repositioning.
Performs purposeful hourly rounds.
Performs other duties as assigned.
