About The Position

The Patient Care Technician works in a highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to provide the best possible care for patients. The role assists with patient care and provides support services to patients, the nursing unit, and professional staff. This position is full-time, overnight, and based in the ICU, with a 12-hour, three-shift-per-week schedule.

Requirements

• Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program or certified medical assistant program; or have one year of experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility; or be a nursing student who has documented completion of the first semester of a nursing program; or have documented military experience as a medic or corpsman; or be a foreign nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S.
• An American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support card is required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
