About The Position
The Patient Care Technician works under the direction of professional staff to assist with patient care and support patients, the nursing unit, and professional staff. This position is in Cardiology and is PRN on nights, with work hours and days varying.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility, or completion of a certified nursing assistant program, certified medical assistant program, the first semester of a nursing program, documented military experience as a medic/corpsman, foreign nursing education without a current U.S. Registered Nurse license, or EMT certification/paramedic license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities

- Provide support to patients, the nursing unit, and professional staff.
