About The Position
Make every patient interaction count. Join the CFH Medical Unit as a Patient Care Technician and provide the hands-on care, comfort and technical support that helps patients feel safe and supported throughout their hospital stay. Under the direction of the Unit Director and direct supervision of the Charge RN and/or Staff RN/LPN, the Patient Care Technician facilitates patient care through assistance with activities of daily living, helping provide a clean, comfortable and safe care environment, and performing delegated technical procedures. A great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on patient care, working closely with a nursing team and using both direct-care and technical skills to support patients throughout their stay.
Requirements
- Post-high-school specialized training required
- Successful completion of a Patient Care Technician (PCT) training program required
- Patient Care Technician certification OR Nursing Assistant certification required
- BLS required
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
