About The Position
Be part of the care that helps patients move forward after surgery. Join the CFH Surgical Unit as a Nursing Assistant and provide the hands-on support, comfort and compassionate care patients need throughout their recovery. Under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs, the Nursing Assistant facilitates patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with patient comfort measures and helping maintain a clean, safe and organized care environment. A great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on patient care, working alongside a surgical nursing team and supporting patients with comfort, safety and compassionate care throughout their recovery.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- BLS required
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Nice To Haves
- Post-high school specialized training preferred
- Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred
Responsibilities
