Requirements
- Minimum high school graduate or G.E.D. required.
- BLS certification immediately upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- One-year experience as nursing assistant preferred.
- One-year patient care experience preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred or enrolled in accredited nursing program preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides routine, high-quality patient care in accordance with Bradley Medical Center's established policies and procedures.
- Care is delivered based on the developmental and age-specific needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Assists with activities of daily living, such as dressing, bathing, and eating.
- Collects non-invasive specimens and vital signs (excluding IV administration).
- Supports physicians and nursing staff during procedures when needed.
- Demonstrates flexibility, cooperation, and professionalism in interactions with patients, visitors, physicians, and hospital personnel.
- Provides essential clerical support within the nursing unit, maintaining and updating patient records.
- Ensures effective communication and coordination within the unit and across departments.
- Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
- Helps promote a collaborative work environment.
