Requirements

  • Minimum high school graduate or G.E.D. required.
  • BLS certification immediately upon hire.

Nice To Haves

  • One-year experience as nursing assistant preferred.
  • One-year patient care experience preferred.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred or enrolled in accredited nursing program preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides routine, high-quality patient care in accordance with Bradley Medical Center's established policies and procedures.
  • Care is delivered based on the developmental and age-specific needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Assists with activities of daily living, such as dressing, bathing, and eating.
  • Collects non-invasive specimens and vital signs (excluding IV administration).
  • Supports physicians and nursing staff during procedures when needed.
  • Demonstrates flexibility, cooperation, and professionalism in interactions with patients, visitors, physicians, and hospital personnel.
  • Provides essential clerical support within the nursing unit, maintaining and updating patient records.
  • Ensures effective communication and coordination within the unit and across departments.
  • Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Helps promote a collaborative work environment.
