The incumbent, under general supervision and according to established policies & procedures, is responsible for preparing the patient to be seen by the physician or provider. The Patient Care Technician will ensure all patients are seen in an expedient and timely manner in the examination rooms in the outpatient facility. They will assist with the setting up and preparation of patient and equipment for procedures, maintain a clean and orderly environment in the area, and clean the area after patient exams and procedures. The role involves checking patient vitals, documenting all intake information, and entering patient information in the Electronic Medical Record system. The technician will also review patient charts to ensure necessary paperwork is available for the physician and patients, collect urine samples, and order supplies and equipment for patient procedures. Other duties may be assigned as determined by the needs of CPMP.
