About The Position
The Patient Care Technician works in the Neuro Med Surg unit at UW Health Swedish American Hospital, 1401 E State St. The schedule is 90% FTE, full-time, with shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and an every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday rotation. Additional compensation may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements
- Must be listed as active and eligible in the Illinois Registry for CNA.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant, completion of a fundamentals of nursing course with registration on the Illinois Department of Health Registry, or nursing training as an RN or LPN in another country and completion of EKG.
- Bi-annual CPR designation by the recommended renewal date.
