About The Position

This role is for a Patient Care Technician in the Progressive Care Unit at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN. The position is full-time and involves night shifts. The technician will provide direct patient care, including assisting with daily living activities such as hygiene, mobility, and positioning to ensure patient comfort and safety. They will also monitor patients for physical or emotional changes, reporting updates to the nursing team, and maintain accurate patient records. Additionally, the role includes overseeing the cleanliness of patient rooms and ensuring medical equipment is ready for use.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Nurse Aide preferred.

Responsibilities
