About The Position

As a Patient Care Tech, you are on the front line of care, anticipating and answering the needs of patients. This role involves hands-on, personal care nursing, where you will bring kindness, respect, and empathy to patients' bedside. You will be responsible for managing call lights, providing comfort, addressing medical needs, answering family questions, and delivering care as if it were for your own loved ones. The position offers opportunities for growth and development within a supportive healthcare environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, appropriate work experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• 1 year of Clinical Care experience; CNA or PCT experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the collection of data for patient condition assessments, including vital signs, weights, blood glucose monitoring, and intake/output.
• Assist with patient hygiene, nutrition, and personal care needs.
• Maintain and advocate for a safe environment for everyone.
• Maintain a clean environment in patient care areas.
• Complete patient rounding in accordance with patient assignments and schedule to drive patient satisfaction and safety.
• Enhance knowledge and seek opportunities for career development.
• Embrace teamwork and direction in the performance of duties.
