The Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides essential direct patient care, ensuring patient safety, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality. This role involves performing daily comfort measures, fostering a positive patient experience, and collaborating closely with Registered Nurses (RNs). PCTs are responsible for observing and reporting changes in patient conditions, responding to emergencies, and contributing to a shared governance model of nursing practice.
