About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician to support patients with end-stage renal disease at an outpatient dialysis clinic in Sylvania, Ohio. The role provides direct, hands-on care during life-sustaining dialysis treatment under the supervision of an RN.

The clinic operates from 4:30 a.m. into the evening. The schedule consists of 3–4 shifts per week, alternating opening and closing shifts, with shifts lasting 8, 10, or 12 hours. Employees should expect to work every other Saturday, and the posting states there is no schedule flexibility. The position may require floating between local clinics.

Requirements

• Accredited high school diploma, GED credential, or equivalent.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• CNA, MA, CHT, or phlebotomy certification.
• Healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients about treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
