About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Float Patient Care Technician to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. The PCT provides direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through dialysis treatment. The position requires floating among clinics in Lake Worth, Fort Pierce, Okeechobee, and Titusville, Florida, and reliable transportation to travel between designated facilities based on regional staffing and patient-care needs. The schedule may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Requirements

Accredited high school diploma, GED credential, or equivalent.
Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
Willing to float between local clinics if needed.
Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Reliable transportation to travel between designated facilities.

Nice To Haves

CNA, MA, or CHT certification.
Phlebotomy certification.
Healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
Record vital signs and patient data.
Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
