About The Position
Under the supervision, and/or direction of the Nursing Director / Clinical Manager, Resource Nurse, or Staff Nurse, performs various duties in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established functions and procedures of the hospital.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of six months experience as a Patient Care Tech in a hospital setting
- EKG, Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Certification
- Foreign Nurse/Physician with appropriate documentation
- Nursing Student that completed 1st year of Nursing School
- Requires a thorough knowledge of basic nursing functions to meet patient needs for ADL's
- Must be able to work rapidly under stressful situations with many interruptions
- Must successfully complete Glucometer training and pass online testing module
- Required BLS certification from the American Red Cross
- Must clear background and drug test
Nice To Haves
- Point-of-care glucometer experience preferred
