About The Position

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) serves as a caregiver to patients during scheduled work periods, providing patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The role focuses on compassionate, reliable care and helping create a warm, welcoming environment that supports healing and positivity. The position is full time on the day shift, with rotating weekends and holidays. The schedule is 32 hours per week. Specialized onboarding and on-the-job training are provided, along with educational assistance that can support career advancement.

Requirements

Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
If working in North Dakota and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, be listed on the North Dakota Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry upon completion of training and competency validation or within a maximum of four months from initial employment.
If working in Wisconsin, be listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with current work eligibility, or be a student nurse enrolled at a school approved by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing who has completed a basic nursing course and 16 hours of clinical experience.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment and supplies is preferred.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred.
