Patient Care Technician
About The Position
This role focuses on fostering a respectful healing environment by assisting patients with essential personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure comfort and dignity. The technician will enhance patient recovery and safety by aiding with careful movement, positioning, and transfers as directed by the clinical team. They will also serve as a vital observer for nursing staff by promptly identifying and reporting any changes in a patient’s physical, mental, or emotional condition. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate clinical records of care activities while ensuring patient rooms remain orderly and medical equipment is functional and ready for use.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Nurse Aide preferred.
Responsibilities
