Patient Care Technician
About The Position
DaVita Kidney Care is bringing its industry-leading clinical quality to patients on-site at skilled nursing facilities (SNF) through a new team called DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis Services. This role involves providing direct patient care for dialysis treatments within a skilled nursing facility setting. The Patient Care Technician (PCT) will work in conjunction with dialysis RNs to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment. This is a complex but fulfilling service line where meeting and/or exceeding clinical outcomes are the goals, and multitasking is an expectation. The PCT will be based at our dialysis site within the Majestic Care of Whitehall and may be asked to support additional surrounding sites depending on business needs. Operations function Monday through Saturday, with scheduled days varying based on market needs. Training will include a combination of classroom and hands-on learning through DaVita’s award-winning programs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook

Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the complete ongoing care of each patient to ensure their dialysis treatment stays on track.
- Work in conjunction with dialysis RNs to provide dialysis care.
- Provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment.
- Multitask to meet the needs of the service, the patients and our SNF partners.
