About The Position

DaVita Kidney Care is expanding its services to patients in skilled nursing facilities (SNF) through a new team called DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis Services. This initiative aims to provide dialysis care on-site to approximately 10% of dialysis patients who reside in SNFs, reducing the burden of transportation for patients and lowering healthcare costs. Teammates in this role will have access to DaVita's resources and will be instrumental in developing and growing this new service line. The ideal candidate is experienced, thrives in a start-up environment, is passionate about improving patient lives, and can demonstrate a track record of getting things done. Comfort working autonomously and collaborating with cross-functional teams is essential.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
MUST BE CERTIFIED HEMODIALYSIS TECHNICIAN (OCDT)
Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook

Responsibilities

Take responsibility for the complete ongoing care of each patient to ensure their dialysis treatment stays on track.
Work in conjunction with dialysis RNs to provide dialysis care.
Provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment, spending the majority of the day in direct one-on-one patient care.
Meet and/or exceed clinical outcomes.
Multitask to meet the needs of the service, patients, and SNF partners.
Provide comprehensive patient care in an independent setting.
Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
Measure and record patient stats.
Observe patients.
Set up hemodialysis machines.
