About The Position
This position is for a Patient Care Technician in Cardiac Surveillance at UW Health Swedish American Hospital. The role involves working a 90% FTE, 12-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Additional compensation components may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements
- Must be listed as active and eligible in the Illinois Registry for CNA.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of fundamentals of nursing course and be registered on the Illinois Department of Health Registry or a nurse who has completed RN or LPN Training in another country and completion of EKG.
- Bi-Annual CPR designation by recommended renewal date.
- Heart Hospital incumbents must complete BDI course with in six months of hire.
