About The Position

This role involves delivering compassionate, hands-on care by assisting patients with daily personal care activities, ensuring they feel supported, comfortable, and dignified throughout their stay. You will guide safe patient transitions by assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges to make every arrival and departure smooth and stress-free. You will serve as a vital link to the care team by observing and promptly communicating any changes in a patient’s physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff. You will maintain precise patient records to ensure the entire healthcare team has accurate, up-to-date information for seamless care continuity. You will also create a safe, healing environment by keeping patient rooms clean, organized, and stocked with fully maintained medical equipment.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
