About The Position
This position is located at Piedmont’s Augusta facility. The Patient Care Tech works under the supervision of licensed clinical staff and provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle. The role requires competency with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts per week, from 7 pm to 7 am, with rotations of holidays and weekends.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma.
- One year of acute patient care experience in a facility managing a multiple-patient load.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Certification from a Patient Care Technician program.
