About The Position

This role involves delivering compassionate personal care to assist patients with their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and overall well-being. The Patient Care Tech will support safe patient transitions by guiding smooth entries and exits throughout their care journey. They will serve as an attentive eyes-and-ears for the medical team by promptly recognizing and reporting key changes in a patient’s physical, mental, or emotional condition. Additionally, the role requires maintaining accurate patient care records to guarantee high-quality documentation and seamless care continuity across the nursing staff, and upholding a safe, healing environment by keeping patient rooms pristine and ensuring all essential medical equipment is clean, prepped, and organized.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
