Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work within a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

Elevate patient comfort and dignity by assisting with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and comfortable room positioning during their care journey.
Protect patient safety and mobility by safely supporting transfers, movement, and positioning throughout the facility.
Act as a vital link in the care team by observing and immediately reporting changes in physical, mental, or emotional conditions to nursing staff to ensure swift interventions.
Maintain precise health records by documenting patient care updates accurately, ensuring seamless continuity of care across shifts.
Foster a safe, healing environment by maintaining clean, well-organized patient rooms and preparing essential medical equipment for immediate use.
