About The Position
As a Patient Care Tech, you will be on the front line of care, anticipating and answering the needs of patients. This role involves hands-on, personal care nursing duties. You will assist in collecting data for patient assessments, including vital signs, weights, blood glucose monitoring, and intake/output. You will also assist with patient hygiene, nutrition, and personal care needs, while maintaining and advocating for a safe and clean environment. Completing patient rounding to drive patient satisfaction and safety, enhancing knowledge for career development, and embracing teamwork are also key aspects of this role.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, appropriate work experience.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- 1 year of Clinical Care experience; CNA or PCT experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities
- Assist in collection of data used for assessment of patients' conditions as assigned, including vital signs, weights, blood glucose monitoring, I&O, etc.
- Assist with the patient hygiene, nutrition and personal care needs and patient-related tasks.
- Maintain and advocate a safe environment for everyone.
- Maintain a clean environment in patient care area.
- Complete patient rounding in accordance with patient assignments and schedule to drive patient satisfaction and safety.
- Enhance knowledge and seek opportunities for career development.
- Embrace teamwork and direction in performance of duties.
