Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Perform fundamental clinical and non-clinical care activities under nursing supervision, focusing on patient safety and the successful execution of Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Aid in the physical movement, positioning, and transfer of patients, ensuring proper technique to support rehabilitation goals and prevent injury or skin breakdown.
- Monitor patients for subtle changes in physical, mental, or emotional status and promptly communicate these findings to the nursing staff to ensure timely interventions.
- Maintain precise patient records while ensuring a clean, orderly environment and the proper upkeep of medical equipment within the rehabilitation unit.
