About The Position
This is a full-time night shift position for a Patient Care Tech at St. Peter's Hospital, working on the 4 Gabrilove / 4 Nolan Riddle units. The role involves working in an observation unit for 8-24 hours and a Transitional Care unit. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to do heavy lifting, pushing, pulling and standing for long hours
- Completion of 1 week SPHP PCT training program and unit specific competencies
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Assist patients with feeding and ambulation
- Transportation of patient for Discharge
- Taking vitals, patient care documentation
- Managing supplies
- Opportunity to learn and perform EKG’s, Phlebotomy as needed
