Requirements

• Assisting the RN or LPN in the provision of patient care and tending to the personal care needs of the patient as directed by the RN or LPN.
• Functioning as a unit secretary, including transcription and data entry of physician orders.
• Retrieving patient information.
• Maintaining patients' data records.
• Answering phones, taking and reporting messages.
• Running errands.
• Delivery and pick up of specimens and supplies.
• Ordering and restocking of unit supplies.
