About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Patient Care Tech (PCT) - Radiology Aide for a 13-week travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA. This role involves providing direct patient care within the Radiology Department, specifically assisting with MRI procedures. The position requires working with advanced GE equipment and Meditech Expanse. The ideal candidate will be experienced, reliable, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. Travel pairs of MRI Tech and MRI Aide are encouraged. All requested time off must be noted and verified at the time of submission, as requests after upload will not be approved.

Requirements

2 Years CURRENT MRI experience
GE Equipment experience
Meditech Expanse experience (strongly preferred)
Willing to work weekends and evenings
Willing to take call as needed
Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association during employment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
Drug screen and background check (facility required)
Traveler must have their own vehicle
Perm address must be included in traveler profile

Responsibilities

Checking patients’ blood pressure, heartbeat and pulse regularly
Providing compassionate care by listening to patients’ concerns and guiding them by answering any questions or concerns
Monitoring patients’ conditions and providing updates to healthcare team
Turning, repositioning and move patients between beds, wheelchairs and seats
Helping patients use the bathroom and dress
Monitoring patients’ food and liquid intake
Escort patients to get X-rays and other imaging tests
