About The Position

We are hiring a Patient Care Tech for the Orthopedics department at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola. This is a full-time position with 12-hour day shifts, from 7 am to 7 pm, working 3 days a week. The role involves performing basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision, aiding with patient movement and placement, assisting patients with personal care and daily living activities, reporting findings or changes in patient condition to nursing staff, and maintaining clean patient rooms and medical equipment.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

1-3 years patient care experience in a hospital setting.
