Provides direct patient care to support licensed professional nurses. This role is responsible for a team of patients to ensure a safe environment by reducing the risk of harm. The technician collects vital information on the patient and reports it to the nursing team, contributing to the overall assessment of each patient and any changes to a patient's condition. This position is part of the GI/GU Service, a 38-bed surgical unit focused on providing excellent care to patients needing colorectal and urology surgery, and is a leader in Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) care.
