About The Position

We are hiring a Patient Care Tech for the Med Surg department at St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. This is a part-time, day shift position. The role involves assisting with treatments ordered by physicians and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN), helping patients with personal care and daily living activities, reporting findings or changes in patient condition to nursing staff, and assisting with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.

Requirements

BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work within a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

Previous CNA experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Prior Acute Care preferred
1 year of CNA experience preferred

Responsibilities
