Requirements

Responsibilities

• Renders basic patient care to patients in an assigned unit and assists the professional nurse
• takes and records vital signs and observes, reports, and records patient condition
• obtains specimens and administers other treatments
• operates or assists in operating various mechanical devices
• meets physical comfort needs of patient
• reports emergencies and administers emergency treatment
