About The Position
This role involves performing basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision. The Patient Care Tech will aid with the movement and placement of patients, assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living, and report findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Additionally, the role includes keeping patient rooms clean and orderly and maintaining medical equipment.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 1-3 years patient care technician experience in a hospital setting.
- Open availability.
