About The Position
Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital seeks a Patient Care Tech I for their Pulmonary and Renal department responsible for rendering direct and indirect patient care under direction of appropriate licensed personnel. Facilitates care to meet patient's daily living activity needs by providing physical and clerical support, coordinating activities, and communicating effectively. Provides personal self-care and activity programs to patients.
Requirements
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Ability to use computer charting (electronic medical record).
Nice To Haves
- Training as a nursing assistant.
- 0 to 2 yrs experience in acute care setting.
- For GVCH departments: Current CAN certificate preferred.
