About The Position

Ascension is seeking a Patient Care Tech Float to join their Float Pool department at Ascension St. Elizabeth in Appleton, WI. This is a full-time, 0.9 FTE position working three 12-hour shifts per week, from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm, with a weekend and holiday rotation. The role involves aiding with patient movement and placement, assisting patients with personal care and daily living activities, reporting findings and changes in patient condition to nursing staff, documenting necessary records, and maintaining clean patient rooms and medical equipment.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work within a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

Aid with movement and placement of patients.

Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.
