About The Position

Provides direct and indirect patient care activities under direct supervision of the Licensed Practical Nurse and the Registered Nurse. Assists patients with activities of daily living, providing for personal care, comfort, and assistance when necessary. Works cooperatively with other employees.

Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age.
  • Must be CPR certified.
  • Provide accurate, concise and effective oral and written communication.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, patients, and the general public.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractures, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • Ability to solve practical problems that deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Previous clinical experience is preferred.
