About The Position

SMJMG Palmyra is currently hiring a Patient Care Representative to help provide an exceptional patient experience. This is a 40-hour per week position working Monday through Friday on the day shift. The Patient Care Representative is responsible for the registration process of new and current patients at the site. Completes check-in and check-out functions to include collection of co-pays, scheduling of appointments, and requests for medical records. Answers telephone calls and greet all patients and visitors with a smile. Must have the ability to communicate with insurance carriers and discharge planners in a professional manner. Must be enthusiastic and energetic.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalency REQUIRED
Prior front desk experience preferred
Customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

Responsible for registration process of new and current patients at the site.

Answers telephone calls.
