Leadership That Inspires Excellence: Patient Care Director/Nurse Manager - Adult Oncology Infusion Centers - Columbia University Irving Medical Center. We house one of only 20 National Cancer Institute-designated centers for pediatric Phase I trials in the nation. We recently delivered intra-arterial Avastin directly into a malignant brain tumor, the first time this approach has ever been used. Requirements
- At least three years of acute care RN experience
- Four years of leadership experience
- Experience with union environments
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Current NYS RN licensure (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
- All roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
- NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

- Manage all aspects and daily operations of Adult Oncology Infusion Center.

- Drive strategic initiatives that shape the future of emergency care and align with hospital wide goals.
- Regularly assess unit operations and identify process improvement to enhance the patient experience.
- Assume front line responsibility for unit's fiscal performance, resource allocation, scheduling, staff evaluation and patient care delivery.
