Requirements

Must be currently registered in the state of Georgia as a Pharmacy Technician.
Must have a High School Diploma.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
Able to transcribe information and data accurately.

Nice To Haves

2 years relevant work experience in a pharmacy preferred.
Experience handling pharmacy insurance rejections and billing preferred.
Experience in a retail pharmacy environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Build relationships and take care of assigned pharmacy patients by providing excellent customer service and meeting their healthcare needs and goals.
Communicate clearly and effectively both in person and on the phone to a variety of audiences including patients, doctors, hospitals, pharmacists and staff.
Accurately utilize the pharmacy software system to document patient notes, verify insurance and maintain healthcare records related to assigned patients.
Work and grow in a collaborative and family-like atmosphere.
