The Hearing Care Coordinator (HCC) works closely with the clinical staff to ensure patients are provided with quality care and service. By partnering with the Hearing Care Professionals onsite, the HCC provides support to referring physicians and patients. The HCC will schedule appointments, verify insurance benefits and details, and assist with support needs within the clinic. This role involves greeting patients, managing appointments, verifying insurance, providing patient support, processing payments and repairs, managing inventory, and assisting with event planning. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate's degree being preferred. Prior experience or knowledge with hearing aids is a plus, as are strong communication and relationship-building skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook, and knowledge of HIPAA regulations. EMR/EHR experience and Spanish speaking skills are also a plus. A minimum of 2 years in a healthcare environment and previous customer service experience are preferred.
