Working under the direction of licensed personnel, assists patients with activities of daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating. Also assists with taking patients' temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration. This role requires performing vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs with accuracy and within established time frame and/or as requested. The associate will complete all documentation in the medical record as required, interact with patients and their families effectively, help patients with basic hygiene tasks including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding. Additionally, the role involves assisting patients with turning and repositioning in bed and moving between the bed and a wheelchair, and listening to patient health concerns to report to nurses.
