About The Position

HSHS St. Mary's Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join its Medical/Surgical unit in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The role provides nursing support in a fast-paced environment and is suited to patient-focused, mission-driven caregivers. The position is scheduled for 16 hours per week, with PM shifts and every-other-weekend work required. HSHS is a healthcare system serving communities across Illinois and Wisconsin through 13 hospitals and numerous community-based health centers and clinics. Requirements

High school diploma or GED is preferred.
At least 1 year of nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant experience; alternatively, at least 6 months of such experience with the specified certification.
For candidates with 6 months of experience, Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) certification in the state of practice is required. Certification is not required for candidates with more than 1 year of experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days of hire.
