About The Position
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a very respected, busy Ears, Nose, Throat, Head and Neck surgeon's office. The perfect candidate must have previous medical experience, comfortable with new technology and complex computer programs, remain cheerful, calm, friendly and courteous at all times with patients and staff, and looking for long-term employment.
Requirements
- Must have 2 yrs medical experience
- Self-starter
- Punctual
- Knowledge of medical insurance
- Can easily multi-task
- Works well on individual tasks and with a team
- Highly motivated willingness to learn and succeed
Nice To Haves
- Comfortable with new technology and complex computer programs
- Remain cheerful, calm, friendly and courteous at all times with patients and staff

Responsibilities
- Detailed, accurate data entry including demographics, insurance, health information
- Meet and greet patients cheerfully and personably
- Schedule appointments
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Comfortable collecting money for copays, deductibles, account balances
- Day-end system balancing
- Know and abide by all HIPAA, Local, State, Federal rules
- Willing and able to cross-train on multiple desks with different responsibilities on each
- Able to be up and down a lot throughout the day
- Able to stay on task to completion
- Maintain tidy, organized, clean, sanitized office
- Able to participate in day-end office cleaning and sanitizing
- Able to work in both our Orem and Provo office
